WHERE THE LINES MEET
Opening Reception

Friday, June 7, 6-9pm

Throughline is proud to present Where the Lines Meet, an exhibition of new works by Jonas Criscoe and Luisa Duarte, held in conjunction with Print Houston

“Where the Lines Meet” explores the nature of lines, and the space created when they intersect. The exhibition highlights the vibrant connection between two artists from different backgrounds through printmaking forms, from monotypes and etchings to collage and mixed media works.  Here each artist showcases their own distinct identity without undermining the other’s diverging perspective and artistic expression. Criscoe and Duarte invite you to join them on a journey of mutual respect and admiration - in each other’s work, the forms they explore, and in the magic of printmaking.

Potentia // Actualitas is a collaborative, immersive installation by Cindee Klement and JR Roykovich that explores the potential and actualized complexities of natural intelligence through lens-based media, found objects and ready-mades, in a site-specific installation. TTogether, Klement and Roykovich have built a world that investigates opposing dichotomies and freedom from dualistic constraints. They advocate for a wild and intuitive response to a possible future of unbound potential.
